We went in at 9 this morning - navigated the city bus followed by the Metro Train... Found our way to the National Archives. Checked out the Bill Of Rights, Declaration Of Independence, and Constitution. Hard to see any of them since they are so faded!
Made our way to the National Mall and Capitol. Followed by the Museum of Native Americans. Then a hotdog and pretzel and we headed for Arlington. Took the tour - saw the Kennedy grave and eternal light, changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Arlington House.
Walked back to the National Mall and headed for the WW II Memorial.
Decided that would do it for us and headed for the Metro again. Navigated that system and ended up back home about 6:30... Turned around and went right back out for pizza!
Absolutely fantastic time in DC!
